Key Animator, Clean-up Artist/Clean-up Supervisor for FLY MOUSTACHE

Job Description

FLY MOUSTACHE are producing a new 2D series with a hybrid technique (frame-by-frame and cut-out). The visual style blends anime and European animation, with a semi-realistic look aimed at a teen/young adult audience.

They’re hiring for full-time freelance roles on long contract production, starting in June/ July 2026. Candidates must be based in Portugal (remote or in-house in Faro) or willing to relocate to Faro, Algarve.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience.
• Previous experience in 2D animation series (preferred).
• High proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony.
• Familiarity with hybrid techniques (frame-by-frame and cut-out) is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills (Portuguese is a plus).
• Portugal-based (in-house or remote) or willing to relocate to Faro, Algarve.
