JackD Foods are hiring a part-time 2D Animator! (Remote)
They’re looking for a creative 2D Animator who can bring their mascot to life by blending 2D animation with real-life video footage — like creating a fun, interactive 2D buddy that appears in real-world scenes.
You won’t be alone in the creation process —
✔️ They already have an in-house Illustrator who will provide character poses, assets, and artwork.
Your core responsibility will be clean animation, rigging (if needed), movement, and integrating the character smoothly into live-action videos.
Role:
• Part-time (Remote)
• Animate 2D characters over live-action video
• Create engaging short-form animation clips for social media
• Collaborate with the illustrator for assets
• Maintain smooth, natural movements that match real-world footage

Requirements
- Strong experience in 2D animation (After Effects, Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, Spine, etc.)
- Ability to integrate 2D characters with real-time video
- Understanding of timing, motion, expressions, and character behavior
- Basic compositing knowledge is a bonus
- Good communication & timely delivery
