Studio Projects:
-Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures:
Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures is a unique collection of six animated stories from the world-famous illustrator and master storyteller. An international bestseller for seven decades, 90-year-old Quentin Blake has written or illustrated over 300 books and his memorable works are loved across the world for their unique illustrations and joyful, captivating stories. Created using traditional hand-drawn animation techniques, with sumptuous art and music, narrated by Adrian Lester and with characters voiced by Simon Pegg, Alison Steadman and Nina Sosanya, Quentin Blake’s Box of Treasures brings to life in all their joyful glory these famous tales, enjoyed for decades by children and adults.
-Terry Pratchett’s The Abominable Snow Baby:
The Abominable Snow-Baby is a charming, funny and entertaining Christmas animation for Channel 4 starring Julie Walters, David Harewood and Hugh Dancy. Set in the quintessentially English provincial town of Blackbury, town-hall caretaker Albert and his 98-year-old feisty Granny along with fellow townsfolk are thrown into disarray when a massive snowfall at Christmas brings an unwelcome visitor – a huge, scary Abominable Snowman. Kind-hearted ‘Granny’ correctly identifies the creature as a petrified ‘Snow-baby’ taking the youngster in as her new, if highly uncontrollable pet. But just as they are settling into domestic bliss together, a gigantic Snow-woman appears to terrorise the whole of Blackbury…
-Piripenguins:
Piripenguins is a ‘bridge’ show bringing fun to the screens. Cheerful and positive (apart from when supplies of carp-uccinos run out), the Piripenguins constantly face the challenges and experiences life on the ‘berg throws up. Along the way there’s plenty of time to learn about life in all its fishy glory, friendship, and most of all themselves.
