2D Character Animator- JAM Media

Job Description

JAM is seeking a skilled 2D Character Animator to join their fantastic team for a preschool TV series. This is an immediate start position, with a contract running until September 2025.

What You’ll Do:

• Animate rigged models to create engaging, expressive, and relatable characters.
• Bring characters to life through dynamic expressions, poses, body language, and lip-syncing using Toon Boom Harmony.
• Collaborate closely with the Animation Supervisor, Leads, and Production Team to ensure your work aligns with the Director’s vision.
• Maintain consistency in style and quality while meeting production deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Toon Boom Harmony (essential).
• Solid understanding of animation fundamentals: character acting, timing, walk cycles, lip-sync, and storytelling.
• Keen attention to detail with problem-solving skills and the ability to take direction in a collaborative environment.
• MUST be based in the UK, with opportunities for both in-house and remote work.
