Gibbon is an Animation studio based in Melbourne, Australia. They specialise in high end 2D animation with a focus on conceptual clarity and visual storytelling.

Starting out as a way to create films and personal projects, their foundation has always been that of satisfying the deep desire to create great and entertaining work. They take this ethos into every project - be it personal or client based - with their mission to make something they know will make them proud.


Studio Projects:

SHITTY CITY 4:
Two young boys are up late at night playing a simulator game. They are desperate to try and keep their "taxes" up but are unsuccesfull. This animation highlights the nostalgia of playing old computer games and not fully understanding what to do, either because it's too complicated or in this case because of childhood innocence.

Riles - Save My Mind:
Each evening, as the sun sets, the sunset warrior awakens to face the demons that emerge from within him during the night. This endless intense battle, night after night, begins to wear him down, filling him with exhaustion and despair. In his frustration, he decides to confront time itself . He climbs the mountain to challenge the god of time, seeking to end his torment. But as he stands before the vast power of time, he realizes his own insignificance. In this moment of confrontation, he discovers an unexpected truth: the key to mastering his demons is not to destroy them. Killing or erasing them is itself an act of evil. Instead, he must learn to understand, control, and live with them.

Salvatore Ganacci - Dirty Fight
This hard-techno music video, was hand crafted for Salvatore. The teams task? Bring to life his own anime fantasy! Dirty Fight is one of the instrumental songs found in the debut album for Salvatore´s ´Culturally Appropriate´. This animation was produced primarily by STUDIO GOONO & TRUBA ANIMATION. Gibbon helped as one of the additional animation studios from Australia.
