Studio Mir was founded in South Korea, based on the lesson of the space station ‘Mir,’which is ‘advance through collaboration.’

A place that houses best artists in the animation field and passionate young artists together to achieve oneness through collaboration - is what Studio Mir stands for. Today, the contents industry is evolving rapidly with signs of new paradigms being created in this new media environment. To be leading new paradigms, which is yet to be known in the world today, every talented and passionate artist with a shared vision must come together like the scientists at the space station ‘Mir.’

Just like MIR, humanity's first space station, Studio Mir is also creating a new content culture by dreaming of 'coexistence' and 'progress' through 'collaboration' with outstanding artists with the best abilities in various fields. Some of their main work that highlight the amazing talents of their artists includes "The Legend of Korra," "Voltron: Legendary Defender," "The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf," and currently Witcher anime and many more.


Studio Projects:

Devil May Cry-Netflix Series:
The eight-episode tale of revenge and deception is adapted from Capcom’s Devil May Cry video game franchise, which was created by Hideki Kamiya and first launched way back in 2001. The cult property’s notoriety has inflamed over the years via a number of sly sequels and spinoffs. This new animated horror project swirls around the life of a smart-ass demon hunter named Dante whose mother and twin brother were murdered by denizens of Hades. Our wisecracking crusader aims to spill some blood to avenge his family and protect our home world from harm. Studio Mir delivers the illuminating animation for Devil May Cry, and it’s some of its most ambitious work to date. The studio has provided a rich tapestry of brilliant character designs and atmospheric backgrounds for Dante’s dangerous world that should satisfy even the most discriminating of viewers.

KIPO and the Age of Wonderbeasts:
The first season of the show, which debuted this week on Netflix, centers on Kipo, a young Korean-American girl (voiced by Karen Fukuhara) who is finding her way in a mysterious world where humans have been forced to live underground and animals have mutated in unexpected ways. Helping bring Sechrist and his team’s visions to animated life is South Korea’s Studio Mir, best known to U.S. viewers for their work on acclaimed shows such as The Legend of Korra and Voltron Legendary Defenders.

The Witcher- Siren of the Deep:
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep is an animated film based on one of the original Witcher stories. Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into an all-out war.
