BOMBILLO AMARILLO is an animation studio located on Medellin - Colombia, that provides 2D animation services to creators and producers of animated films, TV and web series, commercials and video game cinematics begining in the idea.....(character design / model sheets, 2D concept art, rigging, matte painting, 2D FX, compositing) …. until the final product!


Studio Projects:

El Pueblo del Olvido (The forgotten town):
Maximiliano, a young millennial who works in the old family library,found a book and video with clues about the whereabouts of his long missing grandfather. An old rotary phone in the basement library is the gateway to the mysterious "Forgotten Town"… Is it possible that hidden in there, still exists… a forgetful floppy disk? Pequitas, your childhood stuffed animal? a telegraph? That place is full of oldies! In this gray world, Maxi runs into a lot of characters, professions and forgotten objects that do not remember their past. Maxi is the only boy who has color in the whole town and while he tries to locate his grandfather’s whereabouts, he still takes the time to rescue the inhabitants from oblivion.

Kaia in the Kingdom of Dreams:
In the stillness of the night, in the mystical Kingdom of Dreams, Kaia, a brave 12-year-old Wayuu princess, witnesses an epic clash between the forces of good and evil. From the celestial heights, Juyá, the powerful god of rain, and Puloy, the benevolent goddess of prosperity, desperately battle Wanuluu, the dark spirit of evil recently freed from his ancestral prison, the Jepira. Amidst the celestial chaos, a heartbreaking scene unfolds: a baby girl, daughter of the gods, is separated from her divine parents and passes through a mystical portal into the human world, pursued by Wanuluu’s malevolent shadow. Though Juyá and Puloy fight to follow their daughter, the portal abruptly closes, leaving the child at the mercy of the relentless sea waves. In the human world, a wise and kind Wayuu elder finds the abandoned girl on the beach. Unaware of her celestial origin, she raises her as her own granddaughter.

Flashlight:
While in reality MÁRGARA is a shy and ignored teenager, in the virtuality of Pangea with her avatar MILI WATTS she is powerful and intrepid. In a world where the digital and the virtuality coexist almost at the same level, the plans of a group of malware threaten the stability of everything. The only ones who can stand up to this attack is FLASHLIGHT, the cyber defense squad, who will recruit MILI to fight the threat.
