Sardinha em Lata are a Portuguese animation film producer, founded in 2007. They seek to promote and contribute to the development of the animation cinema industry in Portugal striving to advance the country’s competitiveness within the European markets.

They have been expanding their permanent team, motivated by the belief that a permanent set of collaborators is crucial to improve coordination and effectiveness, thus increasing the final quality of their productions and services.

They have been focusing on projects of longer duration such as series and feature films since these grant them greater visibility in the international animation industry scene. In parallel, they carry on investing in short films as an experimental laboratory where they develop different techniques and give opportunities to new authors.

Pete & Bern's:
Pete and Bern’s are two siblings hatched from the same egg, a connection that makes them inseparable. Despite this that have almost nothing in common and must learn to coexist with each other. This show is about the eternal love hate dance between two brothers, born from the same egg but with completely different views and attitudes. Each with is own craze, but inevitably together they have deal with the day to day adversities, or with the dangers of a great adventure. In this show that has the entire world as a stage this two brothers have the leading role.

One Way Cycle (Short Film):
Adela was born in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century. After several years of washing clothes and harvesting in the fields, Adela decided to emigrate from Asturias to Havana, following her sister Segunda. Adela wants a better life and, above all, she needs to understand her cycle in order to start her real journey: a new life.

Decorado:
In the city of Anywhere, Arnold is a middle-aged man going through an existential crisis and without a relationship. He spends his days watching cartoons of his childhood idol, Ronald Duck. He has been unemployed for years, his relationship with Maria is getting worse and for some time he has felt that the world around him is fake... Like a SCENARIO! After investigating what lies beyond the forest and losing his friends Ramiro (killed by a Giant Moucho) and Polo Crazy (unjustly killed by an arsonist), Arnold rebels against society and against ALMA (Almighty Limitless Megacorporate Agency), which controls the city. In his first solo adventures, Arnold visits Pito Crazy in prison, obtains Ramiro's secret map and tries to escape the forest to find the Mountains of Death. Meanwhile, Maria suffers from creative paralysis, tormented by Fairy's depression.
