Fotosíntesis Media is a studio focused in producing animated films that generate social impact. A solution for non-profits around the world to help them communicate their efforts and promote their cause throughout stories specifically designed to raise awareness and move to action.

They work closely with civil organizations from development and all the way to distribution in order to maximize the social impact of their films.

A Kingdom for us all:
Fran and his sister Serendin live in the Great Slum and dream to one day travel to The Kingdom, a paradise on earth sheltered behind huge walls. In order to get there, they need to do something many have tried but just a few have succeeded: to smuggle on the Beast, a legendary creature that merchants use to transport goods to The Kingdom. When they finally decide to do it, an accident happens and Fran get separated from Serendín. Brother and sister will embark on an adventure to find each other and at the same time find themselves.

A Costume For Nicolas:
Nicolas is a 10-year-old boy with Down Syndrome, every year, to celebrate his birthday, his mother made him a costume. Everything that could boost his infinite imagination. Unfortunately, his mother passed away and Nicolas ended up living with his loving grandparents Mia and Thomas and his cousin David, who is a troubled teenager that is not so eager to share his room with a cousin he barely understands. Nicolas has only one memory of his mother, an old trunk with all the costumes she made for him. One night, while David is having a nightmare, Nicolas discovers a monster lurking in his room, while trying to escape from it, Nicolas is dragged by his trunk into a magical kingdom where he meets Ana, a girl that is in a mission to rescue her sister Sophie from the clutches of a Mysterious Wizard. Nicolas will embark in a magical adventure to save an entire kingdom who’s dreams where stolen and at the same time show his cousin David that love and kindness can break any frontier.

The Angel in the Clock:
The Angel in the Clock tells the story about Amelia, a girl with leukaemia that wants to stop time. As she attempts to do so, she meets Malachi, an angel that lives inside her cuckoo clock. Malachi will take Amelia to the Fields of Time, a fantastic world where hundreds of clock-castles soar the sky, guarding human time on earth. In this world, Amelia will learn to appreciate the importance of the concept of “here” and “now”, the wonderful things that the present give us to move forward every day and to fight for what we want the most. A tale of acceptance, withdrawal and hope.
