Founded in 1999 by Ron Dyens, Sacrebleu Productions embarked on the adventure of animated feature films with Long Way North. The film received the Audience Award at Annecy Film Festival and was released in 2016. It attracted nearly 600 000 spectators in France and was sold in over 20 countries worldwide.
Sacrebleu has also produced over 90 short films, collecting more than 2000 festivals selections in France and internationnaly, including Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand, as well as Stuttgart, Brest, Hiroshima… The films were recipients of prestigious awards: Barking Island (Palme d’Or 2010), Sunday Lunch and And then the Bear (respectively awarded the César for Best Animated Short Film in 2015 and 2021) as well as Madagascar, a journey diary (nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 2011) and Tram (Cristal for Best Short Film 2012).
In 2025, their Blender made film, Flow won the Golden Globe, César and Oscar® for Best Animated Feature, becoming the first independent film to win an Oscar® in this category.

Sirocco and The Kingdom of the Winds:
Agnès, the neighbor of Juliette (4 years old) and Carmen (8 years old), writes children’s books that take place in a fantastic world, the kingdom of the winds. The two sisters discover a passage between their world and this extraordinary universe. Once there, the two girls the appearance of cats, and discover the existence of Sirocco, this terrifying character able to control the wind.
Esther:
Esther is a young girl who, in order to fulfill her dream of becoming a true Healer, must travel thousands of miles with a strange mentor: an Inca God who lives in the body of a black cat.
Long Way North:
Sasha, a young girl of Russian aristocracy, has always been fascinated by the adventurous life of her late grandfather, Oloukine. He was a renowned explorer, designer of his splendid Arctic ship, the Davaï, but never came back from his last expedition to conquer the North Pole. And now, his name is being tarnished and her family disgraced. To save the family honor, Sasha runs away. Going a long way North, she rushes in the footsteps of her grandfather to find the famous ship.
