Studio Projects:
TEKE UNEKA (I don't understand you):
In 1830 a young yagan from Tierra del Fuego, Jemmy Button, is kidnapped by the British Navy commanded by Captain Fitz Roy and transferred to London. He is instructed in christian values only to be returned to his land years later in order to civilize his people.
The Other Shape (La Otra Forma):
In the near future, humanity builds a square, artificial paradise on the surface of the moon, accessible only to those who look and think like squares. To achieve this, people have become accustomed to using "square-making machines": presses, corrective devices, and cosmetic surgeries that mold their bodies into cubes and close their minds to questioning. Pedro Prensa, probably the most obsessed citizen with fitting into the world, has lived with a press on his head for 20 years and has just completed his "squareization" process. On the verge of securing passage to the Moon, an incident forces him to remove the press and observe a different FORM. This new Form shakes the foundations of his doctrine and jeopardizes his entry into the precious Eden.
For a Bowl of Soup (Por un Plato de Sopa):
For a Bowl of Soup immerses us in the dynamics of the heart of Bogotá, where two fish restaurants compete on a gray street. As the waiters try to attract customers in a hurry, the contrast between the popular, bustling, and colorful restaurant and the more sober and distinguished one, stands out. This area becomes the embassy of the Colombian Pacific, representing a melting pot of respectful encounters between diverse cultures. The fish restaurant “Condoto” in the middle of Bogotá, has become in an embassy of the colombian pacific culture. The black woman Caridad, cooker of Condoto, mix at the rhythm of the currulao music, the content of her gigantic pot of soup, the scoop stops and when she lifts it, emerge, gush of fish “sancocho”, the head of the waitress, Lucinda.
