Rokyn Animation is a production company and a 2D/ CGI Studio based in Granada. Their management and creative teams have over 25 years experience in the animation business, including leading both feature films and TV series at companies.

Some of the companies or institutions for which they have provided services are: HBO, Buendia Estudios, E-one, Sony, Aurum, FOX, NASA, FBI, BRB, John Malkovich, Grupo Santander or INDITEX among many others .

The projects they have directed or produced have garnered over 100 international awards at major animation festivals, including two Goya Awards and an Oscar nomination. They recently completed HBO's first adult animated series in Europe.


Studio Projects:

A Promising Future (Un futuro prometedor):
The story takes place in two different eras, taking us into the world of dreams and influence. The protagonist of the story, belonging to an ancient society, falls asleep and dreams of an apocalyptic world, interacting and living the daily life of an ordinary day in a city under the rubble. The future society lives under the rule of machines, robots patrolling the streets. Upon awakening, the protagonist will have acquired important information that could change his current community and this ancestral society.

Elvira and the Treasure (Elvira y el Tesoro):
Granada hosted the official premiere of the animated short film Elvira and the Treasure. The film was sponsored by the Unicaja Foundation, the Capital of Culture initiative, Granada Card, the Alhambra Trust, and the Granada City Council, a key partner in supporting Granada's bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2031. The work symbolizes how culture can transform Granada through the eyes of Elvira. She explores emblematic locations, showcasing a vibrant city with enormous future potential. It represents the Granada that the people want to build together.

Estela:
Estela is a curious and determined girl who has had a goal since she was little: to travel to space. But a series of circumstances will lead Estela to go, literally, where no one has ever gone before: the edge of the solar system. A magnificent defense in favor of freedom in choosing professional vocations and being able to achieve any goal with work and perseverance.
