Surfing Giant Europe is looking for talented 2D Animators to join the team on an exciting high-profile 2D animated series for Disney TVA.! 🎬✨
If you have strong Toon Boom Harmony skills, a passion for character animation, great timing and acting, and love bringing stories to life… they’d love to hear from you!
Start date & Duration: JULY/AUGUST 2026 (85 – 90 WEEKS)
The successful candidate will:
- Have conversational English language skills.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of Toonboom software and pipeline
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience on a fast-paced rigged animation production pipeline.
- Fundamental drawing and drafting skills and a clear understanding of animation principles.
- Able to evaluate the complete animatic to understand the context of your specific assignment.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the style and expectations of the project from the outset.
- Work with your lead/supervisor to make sure you understand and can action all feedback and retake notes you receive.
- Report to and maintain an awareness of all deadlines and apply effective time-management techniques to ensure your tasks are completed within the required schedule.
- Provide consistent updates to your lead or supervisor regarding your progress, ensuring any potential obstacles to your deadlines or productivity are promptly identified.
- Create high-quality scenes, animations, and library cycles.
- Have excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a key team member.
- Strictly follow the naming, filing, approval, and tracking protocols established by the Production department.
- An understanding of file management software (Ftrack) would be an advantage.
