Born from a passion for animation and a desire to bring their region’s stories to life, giraffics began as a motion graphics company and evolved into a creative powerhouse. Their story is one of passion, innovation, and love for storytelling.

Today, they’re a proud part of Egypt’s, Africa, and Arab World’s animation legacy. Their Mission: capture their culture, history, and untold stories through animation. Their Vision: to lead animation, push boundaries, and craft timeless stories.

Year of Coffee (Musiic Video):
Nothing is better than the right cup of coffee in the morning, except if that coffee is followed by a killer song and a fantasy realm. "Al Bon Ma Talawan" (The Beans Are Not Yet Colored) is a music video that joyfully and colorfully takes you through the process of creating and serving traditional Saudi coffee. The video, lasting for 2:51 minutes, takes the viewer on a constant flow of scenery inspired by Saudi Arabia's architecture, patterns, and art. Despite the tight deadline, the team was able to visualize the beauty of Saudi traditions and heritage with the help of 6 child characters and their grandfather.

First Totem Problems :
Your first drive on a highway, solo travel, or even going to get the groceries all by yourself are real-life totems that helped push us into adulthood. And if you dig deep into your childhood, you'd find that all these events were filled with anticipation and excitement. In the First Totem Problems, teenage Sheba is eager to receive her totem, a mark of adulthood that connects her with her ancestors and allows her to live with full-on privileges in her society. However, during the ceremony, something went wrong, and Sheba could not receive her totem. Determined to gain her totem no matter what, she trespasses the portal and dives into the ancestral plane to attain it herself. The short film focuses on identity and family and how our roots are essential to help us grow into who we are. Speaking of the first of everything, The First Totem Probelms was the first short film episode co-produced by Giraffics for Disney's Kizazi Moto Anthology in collaboration with Triggerfish.

The Grand Night:
The Grand Night talks about a 10-year-old Laila who struggles with the idea that she might one day lose her grandfather, her partner-in-crime storyteller. Her grief and fears pushed her to embark on adventures inside the Land of Tales to learn about identity and how to be at peace with life's fates.The Grand Night is a modern adaptation of "El Leila El Kebira," an iconic 60s Egyptian operetta portraying a traditional folkloric festival, El-Moulid. Filled with the same colorful electric lights, traditional dances, special candy bars, and family gatherings, The Grand Night revives the nostalgic characters, songs, and original plot of the operetta while twisting it a little to adopt the film's central storyline.The main vision behind this Giraffics' production is to explore more of our Egyptian identity and represent Egyptian culture and folklore in the animation industry. "The Grand Night" got selected for Annecy MIFA Pitches in 2022 and it's currently in development stage with Triggerfish Animation Studio as a co-producer.
