Petrick Animation
"Every idea deserves its own language"
Petrick is a director-led animation studio founded in 2016, that dedicates itself to creating character-driven films for brands, games, and entertainment. Working across 2D, 3D, stop-motion, and hybrid techniques, they bring together the right directors, artists, and craftspeople for every project. Their approach is style-agnostic: they believe the visual language should always serve the idea, never the other way around.
From commercials and music videos to game cinematics and branded storytelling, they develop distinctive animated worlds designed to engage audiences and stay with them long after the screen goes dark.
Studio Projects:
Tinkoff City Love Story:
Petrick created an animated ad for the Tinkoff City and the Khudozhestvenny Cinema, one of the oldest cinemas in the world. The plot of the mini-film is about love at first sight, in which the Tinkoff City service gradually brings the characters closer to each other. The Art Deco era is an epoch that permeates all forms of art, including fashion, architecture, and cinema. They incorporated this aesthetic not only in the visuals but also in the animation itself.
Fuel and the City:
In collaboration with T-Bank, Petrick created an animated video for the City.Fuel app. Refueling has never been easier — now you can pay for gas right from your phone without even stepping out of your car!
HeadHunter The Flower Shop:
The client asked to convey the message that every entrepreneur is a superhero. Petrick wanted to make this story more down-to-earth and relatable for every viewer. So they added a twist where they transition from the imagination to the real world and show that our heroes are only human.
