Studio Projects:
Kensuke’s Kingdom:
Based on the best-selling novel by Michael Morpurgo (War Horse) and adapted for screen by BAFTA Award nominee Frank Cottrell-Boyce (The Railway Man, Hilary and Jackie), Kensuke’s Kingdom features the epic adventure of Michael, a young boy shipwrecked on a remote island, who must adapt to life alone. But over time, he feels another presence, learning that this world is home to both unimaginable danger and beauty.
The Tiger Who Came to Tea:
Based on the classic picture book written by Judith Kerr OBE, 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea' is a hand-drawn animated film which tells the story of a mysterious tiger who turns up unannounced and invites himself in for afternoon tea. Young Sophie and her mummy watch in fascination as the tiger proceeds to eat not only their tea, but the entire contents of the fridge and everything else in the house.
Ethel & Ernest:
Based on the award-winning book by Raymond Briggs, this hand-drawn animated film tells the true story of his parents, Ethel and Ernest. Following their lives from their meeting in 1928 to their deaths in 1971, the film depicts significant 20th-century events through their eyes. Featuring performances by Jim Broadbent, Brenda Blethyn, and Luke Treadaway, Ethel & Ernest is a heartfelt tribute to an ordinary couple amidst extraordinary social change.
