In the new “Short film creation” course the students will be given a chance to compete in an animation contest hosted by the iconic British rock band Pink Floyd, marking the 50th anniversary of the legendary album from 1973 – The Dark Side Of The Moon. According to the competition rules the teams will be able to choose any of the ten songs of the album and make their own animated version of the video.
The best animations will be chosen by experts, including Nick Mason from Pink Floyd and famous directors Terry Gilliam, Anton Corbijn, Sarah Smith, Kyle Alba, Daisy Jacobs and others. Taking part in a project like this is a rewarding experience in itself, but maybe your team’s production will become the band’s official music video and win the prize money? Are you ready to take a chance?
If you’re a graduate of our school or if you have strong drawing and traditional animating skills – we’re waiting for you to join our team! Do you want to get a unique experience in working on an animated music video with the iconic music from the 70’s, and feel the atmosphere and history of the times? Sign up for the course and take a place in the team now! We start as early as June.
