We are seeking a talented and creative 2D Animator / Cartoonist to join the dynamic team at The Cult Creatives www.thecultcreatives.com . The ideal candidate will have a passion for animation and storytelling, with the ability to create engaging visuals that resonate with audiences. As a 2D Animator, you will work closely with our creative team to bring concepts to life through animation, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with project goals. Looking for someone who can illustrate and animate in the style of X-Men 97. Must be able to execute this exact style.
Duties
- Develop and produce high-quality 2D animations for various projects surrounding the space of Dance Music and Electronic
- Illustrate Storyboards and Art Frames
- Utilize graphic design skills to illustrate characters, backgrounds, and other elements necessary for animation.
- Incorporate typography effectively into animations to enhance storytelling.
- Sound Design Episodes
- Edit videos and integrate animated sequences seamlessly into final products.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 2D animation with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar tools.
- Strong graphic design skills with an understanding of composition, color theory, and typography.
- Familiarity with photography principles and compositions is a plus for creating visually appealing animations.
- Experience in video editing is advantageous for integrating animated content into larger projects.
- Ability to illustrate original concepts and blend them into animated sequences effectively.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or C# is desirable but not mandatory.
