They are currently looking for a talented and passionate Technical Clean-up Artist to join their dynamic team and bring their animations to life.

Job Summary:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Clean-up Artist specializing in Toon Boom Harmony to join their team on a contract basis (estimated 3 month contract). This role requires an artist with a strong foundation in clean, custom-rigged animation (no rigs will be provided) who can work eciently, meet daily progress milestones, and maintain a high level of artistic quality with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have the ability to adhere closely to provided references and direction, ensuring consistency and alignment with the project’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute clean-up, ink & paint over hand-drawn, rough animation by utilizing a mix of pegged and traditional animation techniques.
• Follow provided reference materials with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work autonomously to deliver assigned tasks within the project timeline.
• Present progress updates at least once per day for review and feedback.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure alignment with the project’s artistic vision and style.
• Quickly adapt to changes and incorporate feedback into animations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony is required.
• Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing a mix of rigged and hand-drawn animation.
• Proficiency in rigging tools in Toon Boom Harmony, including but not limited to, cutters, masking, apply-peg-transformations, colour-overrides, and other specialized nodes in order to create rigs on the fly, to be animated using a combination of traditional and pegged techniques.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and motion.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in efficiently managing time and meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to work remotely with a high speed connection to our Dallas-based virtual workstations.

• OS of personal machine (Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac, etc.)
• Drawing tablet make and model (Example: WACOM PTH660)
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with remote workflows and tools for daily progress reviews.
• Preferred Qualification:: Degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications:: Knowledge of the animation production process.
