A production company, executive producer and animation studio, 2 Minutes develops, produces, co-produces and oversees the entire production of 2D and 3D animation programmes (TV series and feature films).

Founded in 2000 by Jean Michel Spiner and based in central Paris, 2 Minutes also operates in Angoulême, Montreal (Canada), Nanjing (China) and on the island of Reunion. Since its inception, 2 Minutes has been committed to teamwork and a desire to learn and experiment together. The principle of co-production has therefore developed naturally. The possibilities are endless, from the contribution of skills as an animation studio on a project in the process of being financed to a co-development approach initiated way upstream, to the simple desire to work with a producer whose values and qualities we recognize and appreciate.

Long way North:
St. Petersburg 1892. Sasha, a young girl from the Russian aristocracy, has always been fascinated by the adventurous life of her grandfather, Oloukine. A renowned explorer, designer of the Davai, his magnificent Arctic ship, he never returned from his last expedition to conquer the North Pole. Now his reputation is tarnished and his family dishonoured. To clear the family name, Sasha runs away. On her way to the Far North, she follows her grandfather’s trail to find the famous ship.

Little Amélie- The character of rain:
Amélie, a 2-and-a-half-year-old Belgian girl born in Japan, thinks she is God. From her wide awake and acerbic point of view,she believes she can make plants grow in the garden, or cross the sea by foot. She thinks she’s at the center of everything and she has only one goal : to convert the world to her cult. Unfortunately, AlmightyAmélie’s power seems limited to her nanny, Nishio-san. Between her family who treats her like any other child and a housekeeper who divinizes her, the choice is clear: Amélie will be Japanese. But her world will fall apart at the age of 3, when she learns that she will have to leave Japan eventually.

Calamity:
1863, in the midst of a convoy heading West on its way to a better life, Martha Jane’s father gets hurt. It is she therefore who must drive the family wagon and take care of the horses. Learning is tough and yet Martha Jane has never felt so free. And since it’s more practical for riding horses, she doesn’t hesitate to slip into trousers. But this is all too bold for Abraham, the leader of the convoy. Accused of theft, Martha has to run away. Dressed as a boy, searching for the evidence of her innocence, she discovers a world undergoing change where her original personality will assert itself. An adventure full of dangers and rich in encounters that will, step by step, reveal the mythical Calamity Jane.
