From a small team of Buenos Aires-born artists who love animation and have turned their passion into a business, our studio is now a home for all creative minds. Blu Animation develop and produce high quality art for animation, collaborating with their clients to reach new standards of design and visual storytelling. They have a team of artists with experience in small and large productions, with the ability to get on track at any stage of the project. Their vision is to use the potential of art and animation to project new realities, and evoke emotions through connecting with people.



Studio Projects:

-Fright Club:
An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in over a century. But, honestly, “saving the world” might be easier for them than becoming friends.

-IYANU:
With newly discovered superpowers, Iyanu and her band of fellow outcasts escape the walled city of Elu and travel across Yorubaland to search for the source of her power. Chased by power-hungry Chancellor Nuro, Iyanu discovers that her true calling is to unify the people of Yorubaland and resque them from an ancient curse that threatens to destroy humanity.

-K9:MIAMI:
From visual development, including character and background designs, to storyboarding and animation, Blu Animation handled every aspect of this adult comedy series pilot. Rex and Biscuit, a pair of pedigreed police officers who don’t play by the rules. Whether it’s taking down deadly catnip kingpins or busting up exotic bird trafficking rings, these two unconventional goodboys will get the job done…even if they cause a few explosions along the way. In partnership with Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s Westbrook Inc., K9: Miami is a bawdy, adult-oriented buddy cop series (think Archer meets Brooklyn 99) with self-referential verve.
