BOL is a full service animation and illustration production house made up of a handpicked roster of international directors and illustrators. Their unique strengths and diverse voices cover a broad spectrum of narratives, styles and techniques, to develop short-form commissioned and original content across all screens and media.

They are a highly experienced creative, production and technical team that develops short-form commissioned and original content – from cel animation to CGI and everything in between — no matter the specifications.

Born from a friendship of more than 10 years that began with the Device animation studio, Bol continues to uphold a culture of camaraderie and respect with a mutual appreciation for the work of team members and clients alike.



Studio Projects:

-Real Madrid: L’Odyssée Grandeza:
BOL created a special campaign for the launch of three new Adidas x Real Madrid official jerseys. The result? An epic story about confidence, resilience and fair play coming alive in full anime style. The studio worked with director 2veinte, a new addition to BOL’s roster, to create a dynamic short film. The focus was on the Parisian suburbs, aiming to inspire team fans to play hard, support fair play and dream big – someday, they might even be the ones playing next to their idols on the Santiago Bernabeu!


-The Art of Being a Rat:
Meet Zoé, Elie, Lila, and Yanis, a group of friends united by a single passion: mastering The Art of Being a Rat. A campaign created for Canal+, produced by BOL, directed by Device and brought to life by BETC.


-Barraquer: Our Mission, Your Vision:
Embark on an odyssey through uncharted territory, where the meticulous explorations of two scientists scrutinize every detail of this unknown planet. In this desolate world, bathed in ethereal whitish tones and marked by an evolution from arid terrains to more humid landscapes, the scientists advance in their mission with profound dedication. Methodically examining soil samples, analysing parasitic organisms, collecting water samples, and tirelessly exploring the mysteries under the vast open sky throughout the course of a day, each frame becomes a spectacle from another world.
