Copernicus Studios is an entertainment content development and production company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. They produce original, high-quality animated content for television, feature film, and digital platforms.

Copernicus is led by three diversely talented partners who founded the company in 2003 and now make up its executive management. Joining them is a team of both full time employees and hardworking freelancers – designers, animators, digital filmmakers, and programmers brought together by one common goal – to consistently deliver a product that meets the highest standards demanded by today’s audiences.

Some of their clients include: New Line Cinema, Nickelodeon, Tenacious D, Weird Al Yankovic, Nelly Furtado, WB, Cartoon Network.

Now, a new chapter is being written at Copernicus as they develop an exciting slate of original properties!


Studio Projects:

-Lana Longbeard:
Lana is the 11-year-old heir to the adventuring ship Mighty Windbreaker. She sails the Ten Realms with her captain father and unique crew, pursuing her dream of becoming a great adventurer. Lana Longbeard is a 52×11 minute original animated kids‘ series co-production from Copernicus Studios (Halifax, Canada) and Zephyr Animation (Paris, France).

-The Loud House:
Lincoln Loud is an eleven-year-old boy who lives with ten sisters. With the help of his right-hand man Clyde, Lincoln finds new ways to survive in such a large family every day.

-Solar Opposites:
A family of aliens move to middle America, where they debate whether life is better there or on their home planet.
