Damm it!

"Because as we say, if you are going to do something - do it in style, Damm it!"
Damm it is a Swedish - Croatian animation studio with a passion for HIGHLY STYLIZED ANIMATION.
They specialize in 2D animation that looks hand painted - a special technique we developed in our studio which allows them to bridge the gap between illustration and animation. Basically they can match any illustration/concept art style!
Studio Projects:
There's a Rang-tan in my bedroom:
"There’s a human in my forest and I don’t know what to do.” Damm it! brought Rang Tans story to life to show what's at stake if we continue to produce and consume palm oil at this pace. The scenes have been carefully hand-crafted and animated using various techniques including cell-frame, 3D, 2D and VR to bring to life the hand drawn animation in a flow of action through immersive camera. A fantastic team made it happen. Rang-tan is the story of a little girl and her orangutan friend forced from her forest home. Indonesian rainforests are destroyed to grow field upon field of dirty palm oil used to make the everyday products we use. It doesn’t need to be like this, big brands have a responsibility to make sure that the palm oil used in their products isn’t made at the greatest cost for our forests.
HOME OFFICE (Hjemmekontor):
"Home office" ("Hjemmekontor") is an animated short by Endre Lund Eriksen, co directed by Daniel Damm. Premiered at Tromsø International Film Festival January 2023.
Allergy Pills:
Another collaboration with Fernando Peque. Using the frustration of working with allergies as fuel, as we set out to find new ways to make hand drawn animation look more like a painting or illustration.
