FOST

"A studio of excellence specialized in 2D animation"

Created in 2018, FOST is a Paris and Angoulême-based animation studio providing high quality services for feature film, TV and web productions. Fost studios accommodate up to 200 talented professionals, all driven by one ambition: to design and manufacture quality projects.

They can handle the entire pre-production and production of any show, in-house: design, storyboard, layout, animation, ink&paint, compositing…

They support producers on any stages they want, from design to post-production. Their clients include Netflix, Ubisoft, Apple TV, Gaumont Animation, Folivari and Cartoon Saloon among others.


Studio Projects:

-Ernest & Célestine, A Journey in Gibberitia:
Fost oversaw the pre-production, most of animation with the studio La
Cachette, some of the color animation with 352 studio and compositing. Ernest & Celestine is a 2012 animated comedy-drama. The film is based on a series of children's books of the same name published by the Belgian author and illustrator Gabrielle Vincent.

-Wolfwalkers:
Second big production within Fost, Cartoon Saloon entrusted themwith
important animation sequences and the post-production management,
assigned to Fost's partner Hiventy.

-Stillwater (TV series):
Fost was in charge of bringing to life Stillwater’s diverse stories in a
hand-drawn 2d style. For each episode, Fost oversaw these life lessons
(around 3 minutes) from the backgrounds to the compositing.
Through his wonderful stories the wise panda Stillwater gives to kids a deeper understanding of their feelings as well as tools that help them face their own challenges.
