Herringbone is an independent animation studio run by artists dedicated to providing jobs for out of work animators while fostering a creatively open environment where the best idea always wins.

Herringbone was founded in 2024 out of a growing need to generate more jobs for workers in the animation industry. As larger studios begin to consolidate, cancel projects and outsource their productions, the desire for genuine artistic freedom and creative expression has grown tremendously. Artists know what audiences want, and it turns out it’s the same thing we all want - originality and authentic storytelling.


Studio Projects:

-Did You Remember The Cat? | Credit Sequence:
This is the first project for the Herringbone team. They created a credit sequence for the comedic short horror film "Did You Remember The Cat? ". The short film was created and written by Daniel Foster and Autumn Olson

-Planet Jane:
Planet Jane is a 7 minute 2D animated short about a washed up wildlife photographer who finds a career changing discovery in the middle of the arctic tundra. But does she have enough in her to continue to feed the beast? The story is about the relationship between us and our passion and the lengths we are willing to go to satisfy our dreams at the expense of ourselves.
