Lighthouse Studios is a BAFTA-winning 2D animation studio based in Ireland.

Lighthouse Studios is a 2D animation studio located in the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny, Ireland. Creating story-driven entertainment for both adults and kids, the studio develops its own IP and works with content giants such as Apple TV+, Amazon, Netflix and Warner Bros. Its crew is made up of over 20 nationalities and has an almost equal gender split. It is one of the fastest growing animation companies in Ireland. Based in the stunning Hogwarts style building that is Kieran's College.


Studio Projects:

-The Bob’s Burgers Movie:
It's an animated musical-comedy-adventure-mystery feature from 20th Century Studios based on the hit television series Bob’s Burgers.The movie was animated in part at Lighthouse Studios for their partners at Bento Box Entertainment.

-Póg mo Pigeon:
An animated short directed by Clíodhna Lyons, based on a concept by Polly Holland. Inspired by real events.
Póg mo Pigeon (a play on the Irish phrase, “póg mo thon,” meaning “kiss my a–”) is “entirely home-grown, and tells a decidedly Irish story,”. Set in West Cork in the 1970s, the 2D piece tells the story of Mikey, a young boy who escapes the watchful eyes of Mammy’s Sacred Heart icon by escaping into the freedom of the forest. It’s here he meets Pidgey, whose free-spirited sense of adventure offers a welcome release for Mikey.

-The Cuphead Show!
A multi-award winning show from Netflix based on the hugely popular video game by Studio MDHR, known for its stunning visuals and its notoriously difficult gameplay.
