OOOLALA is a 2D animation studio based in La Cartoucherie (Valence France) Based in the Drôme valley, they benefit from a fully sustainable ecosystem, within a local training and employment pool dedicated to storytelling and the moving image. Far away from the hustle and bustle but in the heart of the animation.

From Harmony to TVPaint, from watercolour to digital painting, from ambitious series to more intimate projects, they are open to innovative Ideas and new approaches. With a capacity of up to 100 artists on site and the option of multi-site integration, they match the technical and artistic aspects to best serve any film and its purpose.


Studio Projects:

The Upside Down River:
The upside down river is the story of Tomek and Hannah’s meeting on the way to the Qjar River. Hannah hopes to collect a magic drop to save her bird; Tomek joins the adventure in search of a lost memory. Their quests follow one another, overlap and finally complement each other.

Vee and the Golden Apple:
In a magical world, people and spirits are at the edge of war. The peace lays in the hands of four teenagers, who set out on an epic adventure to find the Golden Apple – a mythical artifact, which has the power to fulfil wishes.

Mum is Pouring Rain:
Eight-year-old Jeanne is a little girl with a strong will. Her mother, on the other hand, is going through a rough time; she decides to send her daughter to spend the Christmas holidays with her Grandma. Jeanne leaves dragging her feet: in the countryside, there's nothing to do. That is until she comes across new friends living near the woods.
