"Viva La Animation Revolution"

Pencilish Animation Studios are a crowd-invested studio headed up by animation industry veterans that will create original intellectual properties (animated series, to start) that will feature that work on their Pencilish Animation YouTube Channel. Their goal is to continue to create new properties and build a library of “IP” that is owned by Pencilish and their investors.

Pencilish Animation Studios is the start of an “Animation Revolution” because it’s a studio funded/owned by fans! The investors will own a piece of that Intellectual Property and they are teamed up with creators that are excited to be able to bring their creations to life.


Studio Projects:

JuJu Brain:
This “slice of life” series (created by: Julie Odnoralov) focuses on JuJu- a girl on a mission to be both different and accepted. Unfortunately, those two things don’t go together when you’re a middle-school preteen girl. JuJu has a huge imagination (called her “JuJu Brain”) that makes for trouble in most situations. On top of all that, she’s navigating her own “rituals” (OCD) that are starting to stress her out. Good thing she has a great family and best friends to get her through!

Aro Lucha Libre:
Michael Ortega has dreamed of being a famous luchadore since he was small. Now a pre-teen, he finally gets accepted into a training program with the second best Lucha school: Los Toros Locos. The wise, but strange old master trains Michael and a small group of rag-tag kids to become the next big luchadores. Joining them is a famous big-shot luchadora who is trying to rediscover her love for the art of Lucha Libre. Will this geeky group be able to take on the high tech rival school and rise to fame as luchadores?

Bjorn The Last Unicorn:
High in the Galdhøpiggen mountain range in South Norway, resides the last unicorn on the planet- Bjorn! And, he is bored and lonely. Bjorn discovers the world of social media that he interrupts through his highly positive eyes as only goodness and purity. He meets Becca, who already has a social media “pet influencer” cat, named Patty. Becca decides to become Bjorn’s “momager” and together they strive to bring hope and joy to the world as Bjorn becomes the #1 “social media influencer” in the world! Unbeknownst to Bjorn, social media war ensues between him and Patty.
