Pink Kong Studios is an independent award-winning creative driven animation company based in Dublin, Ireland. Creators and producers of award-winning original content, Pink Kong Studios was founded in 2014 by Aoífe Doyle and Niamh Herrity.
They are passionate storytellers creating compelling narratives and producing aesthetically beautiful content in 2D, 3D, VR & AR, for Film, TV and Digital transmission.

Urban Tails:
Pink Kong Studios 1st original preschool series “Urban Tails”. The musical series consist of 26 x 2’ episodes completed in September 2019. In each episode the animal music artists ooze attitude and present the viewers with a unique take on urban wildlife. Through musical rhyme children find out what life is really like for the wild creatures living amongst us in our cities. These seriously catchy tunes will stick in your head for days. Animal rap stars strut their stuff in these lively short episodes that will have audiences tuning in for their daily musical fix.

The Dead hands of Dublin:
Sometimes the only thing between life and death is a snap of your fingers. The film tells the story of Sidney, a failed pianist who comes into the possession of a pair of enchanted gloves. Upon wearing them he soon finds himself playing the piano like a maestro and all his dreams are quickly realised!. However just when he thinks he has everything he has ever wanted fate deals him a cruel hand...

Departure:
The film tells the story of a lonely Irish Grandmother called Alma. Faced with the prospect of yet another Christmas without her emigrated family, Alma is at an all-time low. This almost tragedy quickly turns into a comedy as the universe conspires to bring her closer to her family than she could ever have imagined. The film has screened at over 50 festivals worldwide, picking up multiple Honours including an Irish Film & Television Award (IFTA) nomination for best animated short, outstanding achievement honours at Newport Beach Film Festival, and taking home gold for Best Comedy at the Dublin Animation Film Festival and the Children's Jury Award at Encounters 2018.
