Red Monk Studio is a production company founded in 2017, with the aim to develop its own IP in animation and live action, as well as to work as a service studio for high quality projects. At the end of 2020 the studio was acquired by the Superprod Group, becoming the third animation studio within the group, developing and producing original shows in-house. Red Monk Studio also develops IP for clients around the world and offers full-production services, with full capabilities to deliver high-standard 3D, 2D and cut out animation.


Studio Projects:

-Nadia:
Nadia is a witch in the making, who wants to learn things her own way, but above all she wants to protect Little Oak Town from the evil forces who are trying to take over the little peaceful village. Nadia lives with her mentor Agatha, who trains her at good magic using the power of Nature. Everyday Nadia will face new challenges, and with the help of her friends she will grow bolder, stronger and more conscious of the importance of standing for what’s right.

-Retired Monsters:
This project, created by Caterina Cappelli, was the winner of the WHAT A CARTOONIST! contest promoted by Cartoon Network Italy. The story revoolves around Tobia and Maura. For Tobia that day was just another day, in which his life flowed quietly and without any big surprise. For Maura that day was just another day, that is, the perfect day to make disasters! For both of them that day was the day when their lives would change, because by an “accident” they ended up doing community service at Villa Paradiso, with the task of taking care of the dear old folks residing at the hospice. Too bad no one told them that the “dear old folks” were … MONSTERS!!!

-Harrison & me:
How can you help the planet when you are just six and a half years old and you’re just beginning to learn about nature? It’s easy if you adopt Harrison! This huge plant being, the size of a monster, moves into an average home and quickly transforms the lives of Charlie and her brother Zach, 11. By taking in and caring for Harrison, Charlie, Zach and their friends Bintou and Leon – take initiative, discover how to reconnect with nature, and how even children can take steps to protect the planet.
