The Violinist
The year is 1941. The dreams of two young musicians are shattered when Singapore is invaded by the Japanese during WW2. As their lives take vastly different paths, they must each come to terms with their place and purpose in a new reality, and to find hope in a world wrought with despair. Spanning 80 years of Singapore and Malaya history, it's a story about courage, conviction, resilience and how music can shine a light in the darkest of times.

‍A Banquet for Hungry Ghosts:
A Banquet for Hungry Ghosts is an animated horror anthology based on the best-selling book of the same title by chef and author Ying Chang Compestine. The show blends Chinese customs, culture and cuisine into 10 stand-alone horror stories set in different time periods and global locales. Robot Playground assembled some of the most exciting animation studios from Asia and around the world to contribute to the anthology, bringing with them their unique visual styles and storytelling flourishes.

A Short Walk:
A short film about a father and son set against a poignant and dark moment in Singapore's history. On a quiet February morning in 1942, weeks after the Japanese empire occupied Singapore, a young Chinese boy accompanies his father on a walk from their home to a mass screening centre.
