Studio La Cachette

La Cachette is an independent animation studio hidden in Paris where several artists from the animation cinema are gathered.

Studio La Cachette was funded by three authors who met at Gobelins school, where they co-directed "Le Royaume"​ in 2010.

After a strong experience in feature film for major Animation Studios such as Disney, Banjo Studio, Illumination Macguff, Onyx Film or Les Armateurs, they decide to reunite and join their forces.

The Trailer for Kairos is their first official collective film.



Studio Projects:

-Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 (“The Spy Dancer”)
Volume 2, building on the Emmy Award-nominated first run of Star Wars: Visions in 2021, features nine new shorts from nine studios (one of them being Studio La Cachette) from around the globe; the shorts promise to feature unique animation styles from a variety of countries and cultures, depicting each filmmaker’s specific vision of the Star Wars galaxy.

-Le Collège Noir:
Is a TV series depicted In a small boarding school lost in the middle of the Cantal mountains, five teenagers spend the Autumn holidays with their jaded supervisor, Lena. But when they accidentally get cursed by a terrible witch, all hell breaks loose and the terrifying creatures of French folklore come after them…

-Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal S01 – S02
is an American adult animated action horror television series created and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky for Adult Swim. It is the first combined action/sci-fi/horror animated series from Cartoon Network Studios and Williams Street. The show has won three Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation Juried Awards from the Emmy Awards for Storyboard Artist (Genndy Tartakovsky), Art Director (Scott Wills), and Character Designer (Stephen DeStefano).
