Sun Creature is an international animation studio and production company with offices in Copenhagen, Denmark and Bordeaux, France.

Sun Creature was created out of a shared love for the traditional artistry of hand-drawn animation. Something they continue to evolve and refine in an everlasting attempt to push the possibilities of animation.

Studio Projects:

Brawl Stars Deep Sea:
Sun Creature was trusted by Supercell with the brief to deliver a high-quality, high-energy animation showcasing the new Deep Sea Brawl Season. The aim of the piece was to present the characters’ new skins to the audience and fans.

Scenery and Sentiment Mondstadt Edition /Genshin Impact:
Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG which sends the user on a magical journey through the worlds of Teyvat. It is hugely popular, with millions of users worldwide. The task for us was to create a short film that brought together the traditional elements of the region of Mondstadt, sending the viewer on a journey of nostalgia, of peaceful endeavour and an escape where you can feel the sun on your skin and smell the fields.

Apex Legends/ Stories from the Outlands "For us, Utang na Loob":
This project promotes the shooter game, Apex Legends, by telling the backstory of the character, Rowenna (also known as Conduit). Rowenna puts her life on the line to achieve her dreams and provide for her family. The film starts with the Frontier War, when powerful mechs descend like angels from heaven to protect humans, using the grand power of a mystic battery. What could push Rowenna to embark on the perilous journey of harnessing the battery for herself? With this piece, the team aimed to showcase feelings of awe, helplessness, resoluteness, grandeur, and a little pinch of humour in order to explain the motivations behind one of the powerful Apex Legends.
