TANT MIEUX PROD

" Won the Best Television Show production in Annecy and the “Lauriers Radio and Television” award for best TV programme for kids. "

Tant Mieux Prod was founded on December 21, 2012, to produce the animated short film collection " En sortant de l'école" (Leaving School ). The aim was to give 13 young directors graduating from various French animation schools the opportunity to interpret 13 poems by Jacques Prévert within their own unique styles. Behind this seemingly simple idea lay several ambitions: to foster emerging talent, to present and illuminate the words of poetry on television, and to diversify the visual experience offered to young viewers.

For the past 10 years, Tant Mieux Prod has been producing animated series with the goal of creating high-quality content for children. Through experience as a producer, thery have been able to focus on works intended for children and take the time to develop them properly.

Studio Projects:

The Sand Wolf:
Zackarina is angry. Her mother works outside the home and her father is often engrossed in his reading. They have little time for her and don't always find the right words to answer her questions. Upset, she goes to take out her anger on the beach near the house. One day, she encounters a strange animal with golden fur that feeds on sunlight: the Sand Wolf. He's the perfect friend: he discusses the big and small mysteries of existence with imagination and patience. Together, they reflect on anger when you don't feel heard, on sadness when a pet dies, on the joy of having pockets in your pants, on bruises on your knees, on the fear of the dark. And, day after day, encounter after encounter, Zackarina grows up!

The Last of the Pebbles:
The Last of the Pebbles is an animated feature film project led by Caroline Cherrier. Eleven-year-old Firmin Caillou is the only one who has seen the immense creature that brought them from the depths. Although terrified by this sea monster, he names her Dana and tells no one. When Firmin's five brothers decide to go to sea to catch a large number of trilous (which have turned out to be delicious in cooking), they entrust him to their great-aunt, Ricette, who lives in the village lighthouse. Despite his fear, Firmin will forge a deep bond with Dana and even communicate with her.

Tobie Lolness:
Tobie Lolness is eleven years old and only one and a half millimeters tall, which isn't very big for his age. Yet it is He who finds himself with the fate of the Tree in his hands... or more precisely, stuck in his hair. The grand adventure of this tiny hero begins the day the dreadful Jo Mitch decides to seize Balaina, an invention that, while it would certainly improve people's lives, would also drain the Tree's lifeblood. A risk its inventor, Sim Lolness, the Tree's greatest scientist and Tobie's father, wouldn't take for anything in the world. At the last moment before being arrested, he hides a key component of the invention in his son's hair and urges him to escape...With his entire people turned against him, Tobias fled at full speed. Aided by loyal friends, pursued by bitter enemies, tormented by the fate of his parents, Tobias crossed the Tree and its lands to take refuge in the Lower Branches and join Elisha, the girl he loved more than anything. But his adventures take him far beyond his world, beyond the Tree, into the Prairie. There live the Bald Ones, a primitive tribe feared and hated by the inhabitants of the Tree. Little by little, Tobie manages to gain their trust and becomes one of them.
