GLOW is an audiovisual production company that has been telling stories since 2010. During this time, they have produced feature films, short films, series projects, and commercials. Their best-known production is the film Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles , which was sold worldwide and received top accolades: Goya for Best Animated Film, European Film Award, Platinum Award, Jury Prize at Annecy, among others.

The Glow Animation Studio is located in the INNOVATION FACTORY of the Global Entrepreneurship Space of Almendralejo , in Extremadura (Spain).

GLOW produces, co-produces, and also serves as associate producer primarily on animation projects, but increasingly also on live-action projects. Their experience in both fields allows them to grow and deliver their best in each new project. Their artistic foundation, technical expertise, and meticulous production and executive production work make their audiovisuals unique stories with a highly original aesthetic.



Studio Projects:

Medea a la deriva (Medea adrift):
On a large block of ice lost at sea, the solitary Medea tries again and again to take her own life, in order to escape the sentence imposed by Zeus: to be immortal in that agonizing frozen wasteland. As the days pass, Medea's strength falters, just like the iceberg-turned-prison, which is shrinking rapidly due to the melting ice. Her rage and frustration, coupled with the voices that torture her, making her relive the worst moments of her life, make her reconsider whether everything that begins to happen to her is part of her sentence, or whether madness has finally taken hold of her.

Estado de Alma (The State of the Soul):
Alma wakes up every day with a new ailment, suffering a wide variety of physical transformations that reflect her feelings of inadequacy and prevent her from following a normal daily routine. With each passing day, Alma feels more alone and distant from everyone.

El Corto de Rubén (Ruben's Short Film):
Javier is a film lover and finally decides to make his short film; but during the process, he encounters colorful figures within the industry who will gradually change his project to something completely different from his short film.
