Studio Projects:
Jim Queen:
An animated feature film for adults, Jim Queen is a production by Bobbypills and Umedia, directed by Marco N’Guyen and Nicolas Athane. In 2025, Waooh! contributed to the project by working on background design (line and color), 2D animation, and compositing. On the Parisian gay scene, Jim reigns as the king of the Gym Queens — the sexiest and most sought-after community on social media. One day, he discovers he’s been infected with Heterosis, a strange virus that’s decimating the community and turning gay men into… heterosexuals!
The Most Precious of Cargoes:
Michel Hazanavicius signs here his first animated feature film for which Waooh took charge of the storyboard, animation and background layout and color stage. This is the adaptation of Jean-Claude Grumberg’s novel published in 2019 by the Éditions du Seuil. In a vast snowy forest, a poor woodcutter and his wife, desperately looking for a child, lead a hard and lonely life. One day, a father, in a desperate act of love, throws his daughter off a freight train carrying victims to concentration camps, hoping to offer her a chance at survival. The little girl, taken in by the couple of woodcutters, becomes “the most precious of cargoes” for them. This tale is a story of survival, love and resilience in the face of the horror of war.
My Father's Secret:
The director Véra Belmont wrote here the adaptation of the comic book Second Generation, which I did not tell my Father de Michel Kichka (Dargaud editions). The Waooh! studios had the pleasure of taking care of the animation of this film co-produced by Je Suis Bien Content, Left Field and France TV. In the 1960s, in Belgium, Michel and his brother Charly had a happy childhood in their Jewish family. Their father, quiet and discreet, tells nothing of his past. The two brothers imagine him as a great adventurer, pirate or treasure hunter… But what is he hiding?
