Andrei Sitari

About the mentor

Andrei Sitari is a character designer and concept artist located in Paris.

He graduated from Gobelins in 2018, and his thesis project, "Hors de l'eau," received several prestigious awards. He has also collaborated with Netflix, Gaumont Animation, and other organizations.

As art director, Andrei collaborated with the LIHTAR STUDIO team to produce a fan teaser for the renowned fantasy saga “The Witcher,” emphasizing the visual development of the project and its characters. This experience taught Andrei that every project presents an opportunity to learn and collaborate with like-minded individuals eager to explore new concepts. Consequently, he became a mentor at the Animation Club School, guiding students in finding the ideal balance between recognizability and unique artistic expression.

Short film creation – Visual development

Build a world by developing professional-level concept art and visual designs that support animated storytelling in a short film. You will collaborate with a mentor and other students to create something unforgetable by choose from 3 potential projects as part of the pre-production side of the animation pipeline. From there, you will develop skills in storyboarding, character development, background design, and more. By then end of the course, you will have a professional visual development portfolio that highlights versatility, mood, and storytelling strength.
