Anna Chrzanowska-Pilarska

About the mentor

Anna Chrzanowska-Pilarska is a 2D cut-out and hand-drawn animator who has worked in the animation industry for over 8 years.

She served as the Animation Director for the Odo TV series and directed and supervised several episodes of the Kazka YouTube series. She also developed the animation style and rigs for the Cloudy and Stormy series on a YouTube channel. Additionally, she worked as a 2D rough animator for Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. She has experience in 2D commercials and has functioned as an inbetweener and clean-up artist for feature animations, including the recent Oscar contender Robot Dreams.

When she is not working on animation, she creates detailed handmade embroidery pieces, which help her hone her skills in animation and handy crafts. This attention to detail allows her to see all the improvements her students need to make, both big and small, to turn their work from good to great!
