Christian Maymó

About the mentor

Christian Maymó is a 2D Clean-up Artist who has been actively working in the industry since his
first feature film job (Klaus) in 2017, at The SPA Studios. Since then, he has continued his 2D
Clean-up Animation career working on international projects such as Space Jam: a new legacy,
Disney’s Disenchanted, Animaniacs, Looney Tunes Cartoons, Ember, Coyote vs Acme and
shorter projects like the short film Satomi, and the epic 2D animation teaser for Magic: the
Gathering Bloomburrow. Since 2022, he has been supervising the Clean-up team on some
Clash of Clans’ animated teasers too.

He was originally a trainee in the Cleanup training for Klaus, and he also helped training the
next intake of aspiring Cleanup Artists once he started working in-house in 2017 as the first
Cleanup Artist on the movie. He’s now available to share his experience with aspiring Cleanup
Artists, while he keeps working on 2D animation projects for international clients.
