Maor Sharvit

About the mentor

Maor Sharvit is a visual development artist passionate about design and illustration. In 2019, he graduated from The Animation Workshop in Denmark and was an exchange student at Gobelins, l'École de l'image. He has since worked for studios such as Cartoon Saloon, Lighthouse Studios, Adventure Lab, and The Hive. Maor has had the privilege of working on projects like Pirata & Capitano, Wolfwalkers, and Falling with Rex.

With over 6+ years of experience, he has been published in Character Design Quarterly: May 2023, featured in serval podcasts and created many personal passion projects.

Inspired by his love for character creation and storytelling, he teaches at The Animation Club School to help foster a passion for design and cinema in the students. When he is not working, he plays classical guitar in his current home, Paris, France, and travels to different countries to widen his perspective and create deeper characters and worlds.
