Job Description

Studio MoonMoon are hiring cleanup/color animators and FX animators! Must be able to use TVpaint.

Here are the roles they are currently still hiring for. If a position is not listed, you can still submit a form with your information to be added to their database. Open to international artists and part time availability.

  • 2D Cleanup + Color Animators – ASAP – End of October 2025
  • Program experience open to any of the following: TVPaint and/or Clip Studio Paint
  • 2D FX Animators – ASAP – End of October 2025
  • Anime FX style seen in projects from The Line, Arcane, The Legend of Vox Machina

They have an indie budget similar to productions like Helluva Boss and Japanese anime rates, and as much as they’d love to hire ALL THE ARTISTS, a budget means they have limited spots for who we can hire based on technical skill and/or experience. If you are, for some wild a$$ reason, interested in volunteering for their production, please let them know in their application form.

Learn essential skills In creating an animated short film prefect for improving any portfolio.

This term, our Short Film Creation course takes on its biggest challenge yet: animating a Critical Role teaser trailer. Students will collaborate as a full production team—animators, artists, and composers—building the project from concept to final cut. It’s fandom, craft, and industry-level storytelling all in one epic experience.

Student need to have the knowlegde found in out first two animation course to qualify. Please submit your portfolio to enroll in the course.
