Studio Meala are HIRING!🐝

They’re looking for 2D Animators for potential upcoming Projects! 🎨

Candidates should have strong knowledge of working in a studio setting; communicating effectively and adhering to a schedule. This will be for a 2D hand-drawn series from approx November 2025 (start date position dependent)

These roles may be remote (within the Republic of Ireland) or based in our Studio in Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

Requirements

  • 2 + years studio experience in an animation role essential.
  • TV Paint experience is essential
  • Experience with animating hand-drawn action sequences preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience/know-how for working on limited animation and efficiently tailoring their approach where necessary.
  • Must be based in the Republic of Ireland.

Learn essential skills In creating an animated short film prefect for improving any portfolio.

This term, our Short Film Creation course takes on its biggest challenge yet: animating a Critical Role teaser trailer. Students will collaborate as a full production team—animators, artists, and composers—building the project from concept to final cut. It’s fandom, craft, and industry-level storytelling all in one epic experience.

Student need to have the knowlegde found in out first two animation course to qualify. Please submit your portfolio to enroll in the course.
