2D Flash/Animate Animator for Atomic Cartoons

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated FLASH/ANIMATE animator to join the crew on their current Flash production!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Animate in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a streaming series schedule.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of performance, posing, timing, weight, and lip sync.
• Work collaboratively while taking and implementing direction and feedback from the Supervisor and/or Director.
• Meet deadlines as assigned by production management and supervisors.

START DATE: OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2025

– Applicants must have resided within BC as of December 31, 2024 and be able to provide the appropriate supporting documents.
– All Atomic employees in this role have the opportunity to work remotely within BC, artists within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland can also choose hybrid and in-studio options. 

Requirements

• Prior experience as an animator on a flash/animate series or feature production.
• A strong understanding of animation basics including staging, posing, composition, timing and acting.
• Willingness to learn and a great attitude
• Ability to accept and implement creative changes and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and e-social communication skills.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• BC residents are preferred for this role
