KERO Animation is Hiring a 2D Clean-Up Artist (Full-Time, Remote)
They’re looking for a skilled 2D Clean-Up Artist with strong animation fundamentals to join their production team. In this role, you’ll refine rough animations into polished, on-model drawings, ensuring clarity, consistency, and high visual quality across our projects. You’ll work with original characters and collaborate closely with animators, directors, and the creative team to bring performances to life.
They’re looking for someone with:
– A strong portfolio showcasing 2D clean-up work (traditional frame-by-frame animation)
– Solid understanding of anatomy, line quality, volume, and consistency
– Ability to closely follow model sheets, timing, and animation direction
– Experience with polishing rough animation while preserving the animator’s intent
– An eye for detail and a passion for high-quality character animation
– Animation experience beyond clean-up is a plus, especially if you enjoy contributing to expressive, character-driven work.
