Job Description
Looking Lion Books are looking for a 1.5 to 2.5 minute 2D anime-style animated trailer to advertise their book (THEM THAT ARE CALLED).
The trailer should be in early 2000s style anime (Cowboy Beebop, Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo, or more recent productions of Lupin the Third). Source material includes sketches, character profiles, the material text (and audiobook), as well as several calls with the author.
The project will require storyboarding, character development, sound, coloring, editing, packaging and production.
Should the trailer be expanded into a feature production, this artist would be the premier consideration for the project. Aside from use in your portfolio, Looking Lion Books, LLC will own the final product, all publishing and distribution, copyright, and the complete IP through completion of the project.

Requirements
- Demo Reel and Portfolio showing off your skills.
- Have a full skill set for all aspects of the production: storyboard, animation, color/clean-up, sound, editing, and compositing if necessary.
- Able to replicate a 2000s anime style reminiscent of Cowboy Beebop, Afro Samurai, Samurai Champloo, or more recent productions of Lupin the Third
