2D Harmony FX Artist for Atomic Cartoons

Job Description

Are you a 2D Harmony FX Artist with prior experience working on CG productions? Atomic Cartoons are looking for someone to join their team and support on one of their current CG projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Create FX using Harmony on a sequence of shots within a production schedule.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of timing and pacing, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of drawing fundamentals.
• Take direction from the FX Supervisor.
• Collaborate and work with other members of the Production.
• Meet deadlines as assigned by Supervisors and Production.
  

– Applicants must have resided within BC as of December 31, 2025 and be able to provide the appropriate supporting documents.
– All Atomic employees in this role have the opportunity to work remotely within BC, artists within Vancouver and the Lower Mainland can also choose hybrid and in-studio options.

Requirements

• Prior production experience in 2D FX on an animated series or feature.
• Prior production experience with Toon Boom Harmony.
• Prior experience working on a CG production doing 2D FX work in Toon Boom Harmony is an asset.
• Prior experience with After Effects is an asset.
• Willing to learn and have a great attitude.
• Able to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Currently able to legally work in Canada.
