Dimension11 Studios is hiring a Storyboard Artist.
Dimension11 Studios are an indie studio and they’re building Legends of Orisha: Blood and Water – a narrative-driven action adventure game inspired by African mythology, and they’re looking for a highly creative Storyboard Artist to help shape the cinematic and storytelling experience of the world.
This role involves translating scripts, gameplay moments, combat encounters, and narrative beats into compelling visual sequences that guide their cinematic and animation pipeline.
They’re looking for someone with:
* Strong visual storytelling skills
* Understanding of composition, pacing, and camera language
* Experience storyboarding action-heavy scenes
* Ability to visualize motion, impact, and gameplay flow
Bonus if you have experience in:
* Concept art
* Basic animation
* Motion capture workflows
* Cinematography

Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing storyboarding for action, cinematics, or games
- Excellent understanding of composition, camera language, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to convey motion, weight, and impact especially in combat scenarios
- Solid draftsmanship and quick sketching ability.
- Familiarity with action choreography and staging.
- Ability to work from loose concepts and expand them into clear visual sequences
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of gameplay flow and player experience
- Knowledge of editing, timing, and pacing for interactive media
- Bonus points if you have experience in concept art, basic animation, motion capture workflows and or cinematography.
