Job Description
Animation auditions for Ante Up! episode 2+ are now open for paid positions!
Productions are handled within their private Discord server, so having a Discord account is required for you to join the crew. This will also allow them to reach out to you if you are selected for the crew or an audition.
They will look at portfolios very intently, and are looking for the following:
DO SUBMIT AT LEAST ONE EXAMPLE:
- Animation made from within the last six months;
- That features finished animation, from other productions or otherwise
- That follows the show’s style (on twos, hand-drawn facial animation, expression)
- With three or more characters interacting
- With one or more characters in dynamic movements (walking/running, directly interacting with props/other characters, specialized character animation)
If you can find one example that fits all of these criteria, even better! If you can’t find anything that fits one of these, submit what you would consider closest to it!
DON’T SUBMIT AN EXAMPLE:
- Less than 10 seconds long
- That features animation other than your own (if you do, clarify this)
- With no audio
- From programs other than Macromedia Flash/Adobe Animate
Asking for Auditions (AKA asking for an animation test):
Depending on your portfolio, you may be reached out to make an animation audition (test) regardless of whether you asked for one or not. This is to get a better idea at how you work with the show’s style. If you feel like your portfolio hasn’t met a lot of the criteria above, they recommend doing this. Further details and materials for auditions will be provided in the google application form.
Note: Ante Up! primarily uses Adobe Animate for its character animation, so they are only providing materials and accepting auditions for it.

Requirements
- Demo Reel that have all or some of the requirements listed above.
- Experience using Macromedia Flash/Adobe Animate.
- Comfortable with dynamic character animation (walking, running, character interactions).
- Previous experience working with objects show's or other productions.
- Have a Discord account for commuunication.
- Must be 16+
