Combo Studio is hiring! They are currently looking for 2D Animators with a Focus on Traditional Animation | Rough, Tie Down, Clean-up & Color.
Note: Candidate with Brazilian residency will likely be preferred, BUT candidates that are foreign from Brazil are also welcomed to apply. The original job post is in Portuguese, so Portuguese speakers will also likely be preferred.
General Information:
OPEN POSITIONS for a Traditional 2D Animator, for a series project with an estimated contract period of 9 months , starting in July.
ROUGH/TIEDOWN
- Experience with traditional 2D animation (with strong mastery of the Rough and Tie-down stages)
- Solid foundation in design,
- Be able to interpret the volume and maintain consistency throughout the animation.
- Mastery of acting, timing, and spacing.
- Commitment to deadlines and deliverables.
- The work is organized and prepared to move on to the clean-up phase, containing all the nuances and details of the character.
- Experience in Toon Boom
CLEAN UP & COLOR
- Experience with traditional 2D animation, with strong mastery of the Clean-up and Color Grading stages.
- Excellent line control, maintaining consistent, precise strokes with a good finish.
- The ability to preserve consistency in volume, proportion, and character construction throughout the entire animation.
- Pay attention to detail and the organization of layers, naming conventions, and file structure.
- Commitment to deadlines and deliverables.
- Organization and technical care to ensure files are ready for export and compositing.
- Experience in Toon Boom Harmony.
